June 28,
2010
Dear
YWCA Executive Colleagues,
I am pleased to invite you to
join us at our very exciting and information-packed 25th
annual professional development conference, Architects
for Success: Designing Your Blueprint for the Future
and to become a NAYE member.
Our celebratory, 25th anniversary conference will
be held at the historic Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. October
27-30, 2010. NAYE is the only
professional association of YWCA executives that serves as the source
for what is happening throughout the YWCA nationally, from the
YWCA executive perspective.
I joined NAYE when I became
our YWCA President and CEO and it has made building relationships with
other YWCA executives and CEOs so easy and meaningful. At our
annual NAYE conferences, we hear from experts about issues that are
most important to us as leaders of our YWCAs, and we share initiatives,
programs, and resource development strategies in small, intimate
surroundings, which makes it very easy to bring back new and innovative
ideas that we can implement quickly at our own YWCAs. Now,
especially during these turbulent times, I think that you will find
great value at our NAYE conference.
NAYE membership has always
provided linkages with others who are pursuing the same types of
opportunities and tackling similar challenges, especially beyond our
regional councils. The organization, since it is governed by its
members, keeps abreast of needs specific to YWCA executives and
responds accordingly.
Membership benefits also
include access to the NAYE National YWCA Directory, referral services,
information and products listed on the “For Members” pages of the NAYE
website (NAYE.org), and participation in the annual professional
development conference.
We enthusiastically extend
this invitation to renew or start your membership and to register for Architects
for Success: Designing Your Blueprint for the
Future.
Please celebrate with us at our 25th conference.
On behalf of NAYE’s board of
directors, I look forward to hearing from you. Now
–please

Sincerely,

Adrianne Singer,
President, NAYE
